This post is for all my blonde babes out there.
I know what a struggle it is to get that perfect shade of blonde you want while not damaging your hair. We all can’t stand brassy orange hair and want that perfect icey blonde toned hair. But lets face it, it can be pretty damaging if you don’t take care of it and do the proper steps to having healthy blonde beautiful hair. I’m going to share with you what I do to keep my locks feeling luscious but yet still having that icey hair I want.
My hair has definitely been through it, because when I want something I want it right away and my mind is set on it. I used to change my hair up so often and go blonder and blonder and blonder, if you’re a blonde you know the addiction is real. Well eventually my hair had chemical breakage and it has been a real pain in the A to get it back to a healthy state. I have tried everything so I like to think I’m an expert when it comes to blondes.
Olaplex #3 mask will be your BEST FRIEND. I love this stuff. You can leave it in for 5-10 min after you washed your hair, or leave it on for a half hour while your cleaning, etc or sometimes I even like to sleep in it.This is a must have, it’s basically gold in a bottle.
Purple Shampoo- That’s right it is what it’s called, its shampoo that is purple. This is a total game changer, it’s a shampoo that tones your hair. Leave the shampoo in for 5-10 mins while your washing your bod & you will feel like you just got your blonde freshened up. Purple shampoo takes away the brass and cools it down. My fav is Matrix So Silver, it works wonders. If you’ve tried a purple shampoo, comment below your fav brand, I love to try out different ones.
Toners- I love to get my hair toned when it starts to get brassy. My go to toner is 9v by Redkin, it makes your hair go from blah to AHHH-mazing. You can go even longer between bleach session, which will help your stay healthy.
What do you do to keep your blonde hair healthy?! Leave your tips in the comments.
