I’ve been a little MIA lately and not getting as many posts up as often as I’d like but I promise I have exciting things coming- so stay tuned. As you ladies know it is no secret I LOVE ME SOME WEAVE, so yesterday I decided to give tape in extensions a try, I’ve always been a little skeptical to give them a try because lets face it- tape in your hair doesn’t sound too pretty! LOL, I have to admit they feel a lot better than I thought they would and look AMAZING. They feel very light in my hair, there is no tugging or pulling, the application was pretty fast, and they look very well blended.
Three years ago I started wearing Halo Couture Extensions hairpiece, which I absolutely am obsessed with, it’s so convenient and easy. If you want to rock long mermaid hair one day and the next rock your short hair you can, that’s what I loved about them. But as with every thing in life there is always pros and cons, and I am going on vacation this week and I didn’t want to have to worry about putting the halo hair piece in and out because I’m going to be in hot weather by the pool and at amusement parks. I wanted my hair to be the last thing I had to worry about so I decided to give Halo Couture tape ins a try – and they blew me away! I love them, I have three packs of the 16 inch tape ins, in shade 116. I knew the color would look perfect with my hair because I had the layered 22 inch halo hair piece previously in that shade and it matched perfectly. I’m only going to be wearing the tape ins for about 6 weeks because I am going to Utah at the end of April to get certified in beaded weft extensions and I’m going to get those put in to try out because I want to try them out before I recommend something to my clients. Stay tuned for another hair extension method post coming soon!
I love to try out new extensions methods and offer different methods because everyone’s head of hair is different and everyone has a personal preference, I may love halo couture extensions but they may not be for everyone. It’s good to have options and I love to try out different methods so I can personally tell you my experience and the pros and cons to each of them and then from there you can decide which method is best for you!
What extensions have you ladies tried out and loved or maybe tried and not loved so much? Comment below and let me know! If you guys are interested in the halos feel free to email me.
